Actress Natasha Blasick Plays With Darkness In Blood Pageant
Natasha Blasick brings a modern new age twist to the classic femme fatale character

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – June 29, 2021 – PRLog — Known for her leading lady roles in Metalhead, Paranoid Activity 2 and Death Of Evil, actress Natasha Blasick digs in deep to explore her dark side in Blood Pageant portraying an unleashed antagonist. The horror romp releases theatrically and on streaming platforms on June 29, 2021. The cast includes Snoop Dogg, Stephen Baldwin and David Chokachi (Baywatch).
It might seem like a big stretch to switch from playing heroines to embodying a baddie. Natasha puts the witch in switch. She confirms that dark subjects and horror can take a toll on her. “I play Liz, a new age life coach who is a gateway to evil. I give every role everything I have, so this moviemaking experience took me down some gloomy paths. As an actor I don’t judge the characters I play. Liz has a dark side, but also a strong drive to accomplish her goal, so her discernment is normal for her. She’s really dedicated to her cause, so I played love.” Natasha references a performance that really resonates with her, “Jack Nicholson’s character in the Shining was on my mind a lot. He was just trying to take care of his family.”
Natasha also contributed two of her electro pop songs, “If You’re Feeling Sexy” and “I Always Win”, to the soundtrack. “I loved the way “I Always Win” plays at a time when Liz is offscreen but still pulling strings, emotional and supernatural, to get her way” says Natasha.
Natasha can be seen in Amazon’s Jean Claude Van Johnson and on Hulu’s There’s Johnny!. She is an influencer with her review show Kittens On The Couch. Dreamality Podcast just launched on multiple podcast services.
Upcoming projects include Jamie Foxx’s All Star Weekend and Proxima a sci-fi indie feature film in which Natasha is starring in addition to producing.
