Life can be so amazing. I would have never dreamed that I’d have a career as a vocal recording artist. Singing is such a great pleasure. Although I was never the shower singer growing up. I sing in the recording studio now. Who knew? It’s so much fun crafting a track into existence. Martin Blasick produces and writes these songs. He’s a gold record awarded producer who’s produced Oscar winners. This is something we do from our hearts.
My newest song “If You’re Feeling Sexy” is featured in the feature film The Sex Trip in which I also play the role of supermodel Alexa.
I grew up listening to dance, techno and electronica music in Ukraine. We would dance until the sunrise, so I have a special love for this music. I love to create this mood as a recording artist. It’s fun and sexy to me. This is a way for me put to my heart out there for all to share my feeling. You can dance until the sunrise, too, with me.
“My Soul‘ is a special song to me. It’s not an electronic dance song. I co-wrote it for the feature film Notes From The New World in which I play Sonia. I sing it onscreen in Russian. It’s an original song written in the style of a Russian folk ballad. It’s a family affair. My mother, during a visit, became a co-writer by helping with the lyrics. And, of course, super talented Martin Blasick co-wrote. produced and played guitar. It definitely touches my soul. This sound is deeply engrained in me.

The Double Rainbow song came up pretty organically. I came back from a set having woken up a 5am for a cancelled shoot, only I hadn’t been informed of the cancelation. To say the least I was not in the greatest mood ever. So Martin and I went about googling positive videos on tubes for a mood enhancement. We can across Paul “Bear” Vasquez’s Double Rainbow clip. Martin came up with the idea to make a song out of Bear’s famous words.
Bear actually loved our treatment of his words and invited us to visit him in Yosemite in order to shoot a second in the beautiful nature and including the man himself in the new video. He’s an amazingly positive being. We will always cherish the time we spent there. This video is the result:
